DJ Premier would call this a "Turntable record". A song to show the world that I'm not to be taken lightly. I kept my focus mainly on my rhyming techniques, without crossing the line on brag-and-boast or battle rap. This because I don't feel I need that. I rather let my mastery speak than fit 32 bars with empty threads.

Slow beats tend to leave rappers exposed. People can do a lot of stuff when the tempo is up and moving. But when those spaces become obvious, people don't know how to take 'em.
